Many believe the devil is like a roaring lion—easy to spot, easy to flee.

They think his work is obvious, his influence blatant, and that resisting him is simple, as long as you know what he looks like and where he hides.
But the truth is far more dangerous.Satan is subtle. His nature is deceptive. And the Bible often speaks in hints and shadows—truths that, when twisted by the enemy, are misunderstood by many.
Make no mistake—Satan knows the Scriptures. He used them to tempt Christ in the wilderness, whispering, “It is written…”If he dared to twist the Word of God against the Son of God, how much more will he try to deceive you and me?
That’s why every born-again believer must be rooted in the foundational truths of Scripture, seeing life through the lens of God’s Word.Only then can we stand firm and avoid becoming the next casualty in a spiritual war that rages quietly but relentlessly.
New believers, especially, often encounter conflicts—inner battles that clash with their former worldview. As Jesus said in the parable of the sower: “Where the seed falls, so shall it grow.”
But when that seed of truth falls on hard or divided soil, the enemy is quick to snatch it away.He points out the flaws of others, stirs up irritation in the spirit, and merges his lies with our wounded pride. And before long, the believer walks away from the church—not because of God, but because of offense.
Satan’s manipulation is cunning. He flatters the ego, whispering: “You’re better than them. You don’t need these weak ones.”And unless a godly mentor stands nearby, his lies take root—and that soul may fall, sometimes beyond return.
Here, we will examine these spiritual principles—the holy foundations revealed in Scripture and affirmed by the Holy Spirit—so that Satan, the devil, and Lucifer will have no foothold to steal God’s people from the heart of His universal Church. For within that Church lies a mystery—full of power and glory!
